IBSA Race Rules:
- House Rules, Rule — All race participants must have a beverage in their hand at race start. (to avoid any challenges of race tampering)
- Classes
- Modified — anything goes, with exceptions:
- Machines must be sandbelt driven
- All modifications must be carried “on-board”

- All races will be run on a 12″ (approximately) wide track
- Course shall be fifty (50) feet in length
- Race Start
- Eliminations — the Rules Committee shall define the number and structure of the races at the beginning of the event according to the number of competitors in each category
- Running starts — referred to the Research Department for further study
- No new entries are allowed after first round of races (by category) are complete
- Two (2) false starts and “You’re out!”
- No more than five (5) minutes are allowed between races for repairs, modifications, or any other changes–penalty is forfeiture of race
- Disputed races may be re-run at the discretion of the Rules Committee
- Awards shall be determined by the Rules Committee
- All decisions of the Rules Committee are Final!
- The rules committee can easily be bribed with alcohol.
